Hon. Inusa Imonofi

Inusa Imonofi is giving his present to secure a brighter future for his people. He is a man of many hues who have been a major player in the Nigerian banking sector over the years. His wealth of experienced is dazzling.
Charismatic Imonofi Inusa was born to the highly respected family of Alhaji Usman Imonofi of Afighala Quarters in Iyakpi, South-Ibie, Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State on the 1st January, 1963. He is the first child of his parent.
His father, Alhaji Usman Imonofi was a successful farmer and a community leader, while his mother Hajia Aishat Imonofi is very affable in character and outlook.
Imonofi was decently brought up by his parents. His illustrious upbringing is glaring in all ramifications of his life.
Hon. Imonofi has constantly distinguished himself from the pack that even in the face of prevailing circumstances that have made honesty and uprightness scarce commodities in the society, he remained from and steadfast.
This is a further confirmation that he was brought up by his parents who strongly believe that when you bring up a child the way he should go, he will never depart from it. His discipline and morals have gained him plethora of friends at home and in Diaspora.
Imonofi is a gentleman imbued with exceptional attributes. His resolve to always follow the advice given to him as a young child by his parent and determination to always do things in a unique way has made him grow morally and proficiently.
Hon. Chief (Dr) Inusa Imonofi is a child of destiny. To him, there is no limit to what one can achieve with a strong will and passion to succeed. He has successfully carved a niche for himself in business and politics.
While chatting his educational course, young Imonofi Inusa was enrolled at the tender age of six at the Legendary Oshiozekhia (Moslem) Primary School, Iyakpi, South-Ibie, where he had his primary education between 1968 and 1974.
For his secondary education, erudite Imonofi attended Victory Commercial College, Iyakpi, from 1976 and 1981. He came out in flying colours.
Hon. Chief (Dr.) Imonofi Inusa’s fervor for higher education took him to the reputable Plateau State School of Accountancy, Jos, where he obtained the Higher Diploma in Accounting and the renowned Kano State Polytechnic, where he bagged the Higher National Diploma (HND) in Banking and Finance.
Thereafter, he proceeded to the prestigious Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi for his post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM).
Testament to his insatiable quest for merit, he further proceeded to national Teaches Institute (NTI), Kaduna for his Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
Meticulous Imonofi Inusa also attended the National Open University, Kano, for his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA).
Hon. Imonofi Inusa, a former Vice Chairman Etsako west Local Government Area of Edo State, and presently the Executive Chairman, Etsako west Local Government is a man of many parts before delving into the murky waters of polities, he had stints with reputable conglomerate. He has very rich and profuse years of experience in the private sector with over 15 years wealth of experience in the financial sector of the Nigerian economy.
He worked in various capacities in the defunct Nigeria Arab Bank Limited, ranging from Clerical Officer up to the enviable position of Assistant Controller. The esteemed philanthropist is a firm believer in the saying that education is the bedrock of any nation.
In 2000, Imonofi established the prestigious Brain College, located at the Chiranci area of Kano State. The school is soaring higher and is being managed by qualified personnel. The school has rise to enviable height in both Kano state and Nigerian in general
The indefatigable business executive is the managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Salux Synergy Paints and Chemicals situated at Dakatal Industrial Layout, Kano State.
Imonofi diversified into industrialization in 2003 to further boost the nation’s economy and create employment for the teeming Nigerian youths. No wonder everywhere he goes, the people hold him in high esteem.
Truly, Hon. Imonofi Inusa is professionally equipped to achieve the best, but what has made his name endorsement of value is more than his expertise.
What has taken the Afenmai illustrious son this far in life in more than his retinue of certificates and training. The culture of hard work, diligence and upright character which he imbibed right from his childhood has really contributed to his success in life.
Hon. Imonofi Inusa, who belongs to the exceptional character, joined partisan politics in 2004 when he officially registered as a full member of the Action Congress (AC) which later metamorphosed to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He is an astute and committed member who always participates actively in ensuring the progress of the party at all levels.
Imonofi as a well-known member of the APC in Edo State, a strong pillar and father figure to Edo State APC members resident in Kano State, single-handedly mobilized Edo indigenes in Kano State to vote massively for APC, during the administration of Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomole. He stood solidly behind him in his second term bid.
He also contributed in no small measure to the huge success of APC candidates in 2015 polls at all levels.
During the first term election of the incumbent Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki, Imonofi worked very hard to see that his ward was delivered for APC.
In March, 2018, Hon. Imonofi Inusa was elected as the Vice Chairman of Etsako West Local Government Council.
On the 30st July, 2019, Hon. Imonofi Inusa became the Executive Chairman of Etsako West Local Government Area. A position he has demonstrated great commitment and dexterity.
On the 20th June, 2020, Imonofi resigned his membership from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and joined the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). He participated hugely to the success of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in the September 19th, 2020 Edo Gubernatorial Election.
Hon. Imonofi Inusa has held several leadership positions, received several accolades, laurels and awards and has touched many lives.
Life, according to Greta Palmer, is not significant except for its impact on the lives of others. He was the chairman of South-Ibie Community Association in Kano state (1995-2003). He was the President of Etsako Union of Nigerian, Kano State (2003-2011). He served the union so diligently that in 2005, the then first lady of Edo State, Her Excellency, Mrs. Eki Igbinedion honoured him with a Distinguished Merit Award.
Also in 2005, in recognition of his uniqueness in the discharge of his leadership responsibilities, he was conferred with a chieftaincy title, the Oshiomhole of Edo State by the Sarki of Edo in Kano State.
In 2009, he was awarded the distinguished leadership award by the Edo State Community in Kano State.
The business magnate was conferred with the title of Khadimu-Deen Maitamako Adeeni of Yoruba Land in 2010.
In 2011, he was elected the President General of Edo State Community Association, Kano State, a position he holds till date.
Hon. lmonofi Inusa is currently a patron of Etsako Union of Nigeria, Kano, and South-Ibie Community, Kano.
In 2013, he was conferred with the fellow of the Centre for Leadership and Entrepreneurial Development.
The Institute of Chartered Economics of Nigeria conferred on him the Professional Fellowship Doctorate (Honourary Doctorate Award) on December 12, 2015 and Hallowed Communication 2018 Distinguished Personality Award.
In October16, 2020, he was honoured with Nigerian Local Government Excellence Award (LOGEXA) by Medals Magazine.
The West African Students’ Union Parliament (WASUP) awarded him with Pan-African Exemplary Leadership Award, on December 14, 2020.
Hon. Imonofi has won other awards too numerous to mention.
Hon. Imonofi Inusa is a devoted Muslim, a man of great achievements, a man with a large heart, a vibrant player in the Nigeria politics, a passionate promoter of high educational standard, and a pillar in the Nigeria financial and Industrial sectors.
