Ambassador Muhammed Yamah is  one of the true sons of Afemai, who was born in the year 1960 in Iyuku village in Uzairue clan. He started his educational journey from Saint Johns Anglican Primary School in Iyuku now Uku Primary School. He then went ahead to complete his secondary education in Federal Government College Kano. He further studied law in the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, and was admitted in the Nigerian law school Lagos in the 1984/85 academic year. He completed his National Youth Service Corps’ in Imo state.

He started his private practice in law, specializing in oil and gas and real estate law. He has travelled widely around the world and held numerous appointments including Director General, Edo State Government Liaison Office. Abuja, Member Edo state State Judicial Service Commission.

Presently, he is  the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Republic of Mozambique, Mauritius and Madagascar.
